Home Made Facial Masks

Oatmeal-MaskMaking facial masks at home is not very much hard. The facial masks should be tried at home. It will give the skin great glow and feel. But before applying the facial mask it should be made sure that those masks are good for individual’s skin type.

It should also be made sure that you are not allergic to any ingredient before using and applying home made facial masks. The mask shall first be tested on the back of the ear first and then it should be applied to the face. The most important and useful reason to make home facial masks is that one can find the ingredients right in home or can easily buy them from the grocery store.

These masks are relatively easy and inexpensive to make specially when compared to the facial masks which area available at beauty shops.

Oily Skin

For oily skin some plain milk of Magnesia shall be used, then it should be rubbed on the skin and left to dry. Then it should be rinsed off with lukewarm water. Oil is wonderfully absorbed by it.

Normal Skin

One egg and half cup cooked instant oatmeal and a tea spoon olive oil till smooth shall be used for normal skin.

Dry Skin

In case of dry skin, mix one egg yolk, one tea spoon honey and a tea spoon olive oil and some vitamin E oil. Mix them together and leave on for 15 minutes. Then rinse it in lukewarm water and pat dry.
